I almost coughed my food out when I saw this on Joystiq. Yes, I am laughing but what? Street Fighter IV for iPhone ? If it was Street Fighter Zero or some old series, I wouldn’t have really bother but Street Fighter IV? Graphics is definitely toned down for the portable and some of the user screen elements have been shifted.
Based on the screenshot, it appears that the game will deploy using 4 button mechanism . Multiplayer via bluetooth is also possible with the characters getting a complete moveset. The character roster wasn’t mentioned except Ryu and Ken are definitely in it.
Official date and retail price were not announced as well.

When I covered this over at X-ism, I couldn’t even get exited about this. As much as I like Street Fighter, I can’t, for the life of me, understand why they would put so much effort into an iPhone version of the game while Wii, DS and PSP fans are left in the cold. The game might be impressive in what they can pull off as far as getting the game squeezed onto the small iPhone platform but who really wants to play that crap?
