SOY’B’ Cosplay 2010 Event Coverage

SOY’B Cosplay 2010 had ended with Togu the tofu making a bang of an impression among visitors who went. The event took place in Ngee Ann Polytechnic Convention Center basement, attracting lots of people.

This year was a far more successful event than the previous year, with over 2000 people who had attended the event*. All thanks to better sponsors (SG Camera Store, Shiseido, Costar, Pan-In-The-Box and Haru) and coupling the support with 30 and more booths. Animax TV crew was there as well, so I guess SOY is hitting TV media ^^ A slew of events took place in the main event hall and a separate lecture theater. The participation was immense, even in the main event hall with the crowd swarming in to check out the events. A quick breakdown:

Solo and Group Cosplay Competition, Karaoke Competition, Shiseido Beauty and Makeup talk, SGdeviant Meet and other mini performances

The event ended proper in 6pm, a big thanks to all SOY crew members for organizing the event
