No, we do not have lolis as writers…yet
January is over already and looking back at how the site had progressed, it is a step up the stairs. We are still growing and the usual, we won’t be around if it is not for you guys who have read and support the site in one way or another.
1 good news ahead – we have a cosplayer who have joined us, her name is Vic. Do check out her blog @ http://secrettorich.com (currently still in the construction phase :P ) for her cosplay updates and photo shoots. ;) In the time to come, we might have her on our main site contributing to some articles. Stay tuned.
Also, we are still welcoming writers who are keen to write on figurines,cosplay to join us as a writer in The Banzai! Effect.

kudos to nutcase23′s chinese new year figurine post. ;)
Site have undergo a few minor facelifts again. Here is a general changelog:
- Removed Category spoilers on the sidebar and moved the categories up.
- Moved the Video section up to the sidebar.
- Replaced Video on the bottom with a flash based tags (powered by wp-cumulus)
- Corrected some spelling errors in the footer.
- Site do not run properly in IE6.
- Have added some categories before and also slight changes to CSS.
- Fixed some internal plugin problems and resolved a few minor issues with the php error from featurific (hopefully)
The man who started The Banzai! Effect and Anime Banzai! (discontinued), took an avid interest in blogging and also photography. Integrating his interests with the likes of Japanese pop culture, he starts out his path on the blogging world 
Good to see the updates coming along, oOgA. Welcome aboard Vic. It’d be a nice addition to the anime fandom sphere/blogosphere.
I’ve seen her blog, oOgA, and I gotta hand it in: you guys make a good template for her. Looking forward to seeing more content from the Banzai! Team soon. :D
