Merry Christmas!!

It is the end of the year and The Banzai! Effect wishes everyone a Merry Christmas. 2009 is around the corner and I hope everyone has their new year resolutions well planned. I have mine at least – to make this site at least known the community.

Currently, I am hoping we will have people who will sign up on a news site (similarly to digg) and submit news thru there and from there, it will appear on our main site. This feature is still currently under testing, more updates in the future.

It is just around 3hours to Christmas and a week plus more to New Year.

   You do know that Dec 25 is an astronomically important date in the Roman calendar system called “The Winter Solstice?” Actual Christmas date may actually be somewhere near April.

   …But, let’s not break the festive mood, shall we? Happy Winter Solstice.

   to further elaborate on what u said, 25th March, a sacred day to the pagans is also the day where early Christians took over this day as where Mary was told that she will have a special baby.

   March25 is the also the Annunciation and is still celebrated by Christians till today.

   ps: 9mths after 25th march = 25th dec. :)
