Colonel Sanders statue was being taken from the front of a KFC store in Osaka and thrown into the river during a wild celebration of a Hanshin Tigers baseball victory 24 years ago and from that moment ever since, the team has suffered many losses. Many blamed Colonel Sanders and calls it the curse of Colonel Sanders.
Sounds like some anime plot ? Nope, it is not. Luckily, the statue was recovered in Dotonbori river. Check this video on Youtube
