WLNF Christmas Party

The WLNF gang recently had a Christmas party together at Himebel’s and naturally it was lots of figure photography fun and madness which quickly degenerated into a Monster Hunter Portable 3 gaming session =/

With all the events in decemeber, it was kinda hard to actually meet up with the WLNF gang but we finally did manage to do so.

And despite being the holidays where I thought I was supposed to be more free, consecutive events of STGCC, EOY and Comic Fiesta succeeded in sapping away all the time and energy of shooting any figurine stuff.

So I guess the christmas party was a welcome change of pace from shooting cosplayers.

The recurring theme for this shoot is apparently “Fun with light” as WLNF members seem to have suddenly acquired a large number of flash units and were unafraid of using them. 8D

Getting it right is tricky but being able to control light does provide for some creative shooting in otherwise bright environments.

It was great finally meeting up with everyone.

The shoot was also good experience playing with my two flash units. I certainly hope to get better as time goes by.
