Pimp Your Figma Stand!
Kagami is ignoring Nanoha ^^”
Exams are finally over so it’s time to do the stuff I wanted to do but couldn’t!
Such as play games, watch anime, play more games, watch more anime, and of course have lots of fun with my figurines!
So what’s the agenda for this post?
For you those of you who have Figmas but find the stand plain, here’s something you can do. Pimp your stand base with some cool designs!
Check out how you can do it after the break!
Sometime back, someone in a local forum I frequent posted up some really nice Figma stand designs. I saved them then but didn’t have the time to do anything. Now is a whole different story though. ^^
As you can see, there are quite the few designs. You can check them out in the following links. If you can’t find anything you like, you can always make them yourself using the preexisting ones as a template. They are already correctly sized for printing so no worries.

The process is pretty simple.
First you need to cut out the printed design.
Special attention should be paid to the flaps, they will help cover up the edges. Do pay careful attention to which side of the flap to cut. It should be the dotted line. This will affect the way you stick it onto the stand base. Also, fold the along the lines so as to give the design a rough shape. It makes it easier to stick it on later.
A flap…
After folding…
Next is to stick it on. It is up to you which ever method you are going to use but I chose double-sided tape. It allows me to easily remove it if I want to get rid of the design. I had to make sure the double-sided tape didn’t cover up the hole where the stand is supposed to be inserted in.
You need to first fold the sides with the flaps. After that, you fold those without the flaps.
The flap goes underneath
After the sides with the flaps are folded in…
Finished product

Poke a hole for the stand we are done!
This is just a little something you can do to spice up your Figma. If you like it, you can give it a try too!
Now for some other shots.
It’s hard to find a place to read in peace these days eh Kagami?
I guess Miku’s next ^^
Nice..
All I need now is a figure. >_<
Very nice! I like it~
It’s always nice to see people expanding ideas on figmas, and it hasn’t stopped so far!
ooooh, that’s neat! :D
The stands look nicer and now you won’t mix them up… lol
Some of the image links are broken. Where can I find the Lucky Star ones? It’s just so awesome.
Thanks for sharing this!
It might be easier for me to identify which base belongs to who, since all of them come with the same stand unlike the Fraulein Revoltechs.
Then again I don’t really use the stands, but hey who knows right?
OMG I need to print one out right now.
Poor Kagami
Oh, this is really neat!
I own a lot of Figmas, so I should really give this a try!
Now this is nice~ Should try this. ^.^
