figma Vita: Princess of Hammers

And finally she’s here, the last (it would seem) of the Belkan Knights from the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series.

Technically, there’s still one more member missing and that is Zafira.

But since they have already announced figma Subaru, I think it is possible Zafira will not see the light of day. =/

Really long ahoge ^^

Another awesome piece by Max Factory.

The level of detail is beautiful, from the dress, the ribbons, down to the twin pigtails and ahoge.

As usual, you can click on the pictures for a larger version.

Love the pigtails and ribbon, both are movable.

The first impression that comes to mind upon opening the box would be Vita’s size.

At about 11 cm tall (ignoring the ahoge), she beats even Konata in terms of being short.

All the other figmas I have are pretty much at least a head over her.

Vita’s hat is similar in design with Shamal’s, coming with a loop that is locked in by attaching the hairpiece.

It certainly completes Vita’s look as a goth loli :3

And of course, you cannot have Vita without her famous hammers, or rather, Graf Eisen as seen in the above pic.

Vita, like Signum, comes with a veritable armory of equipment though not as varied. It does take up alot of space though.

As you can see from the above pictures, Vita comes with every version of Graf Eisen from the small standard Hammerform to the fully released Zerstörungform.

Vita also has a bent variant of the shaft, allowing you to pose Vita in mid hammer swing shots that are frequently seen the in anime.

Two fixed hands (i.e non-pivoted hands) are provided which is a good thing as most figma hands are unable to withstand alot of weight due to the pivots and make posing with heavy props difficult at best.

This is particularly true for Vita due to the weight and size of her hammers and the special hands help immensely. Her joints are pretty solid too so she can hold her poses quite well.

Vita also comes with a special hand holding the metal balls she uses for her Swallow Flier attack.

It does give her a kind of cool feel when someone brandishes a hand of cards. :3

For those of you who have already bought Vita, you might be interested to know that figma.jp released a papercraft for Vita, allowing you expand her already big hammer to massive proportions.

Again, although the instructions are in japanese, the steps are pretty intuitive enough for you to get along without any command of japanese.

Yeah, the handicraft is abit rough here and there but you get the idea.

Another name frequently comes to mind when you talk about Vita and that is Nanoha.

Dusted off my Nanoha and took her out for a little posing with Vita.

Vita: “Only I can have hawt Yuri *** with Hayate!”
Nanoha: “Nonsense! Hayate is for everyone to share!”

Vita: ” I’ve been with Hayate ever since the start of A’s! First come first served!”
Nanoha: “And you got pwned by two nekomimi girls behind hentai masks! So much for being a knight!”
