Day 2 of our Bali trip was very busy as it consist of travelling to various places in different parts of Bali. The sunny weather persisted as usual but it was good in a way since rainy weather will dampen the mood in one way or another. Sightseeing is a must in Bali, particularly to the “volcanic” regions and also Uluwatu temple which is a temple right at the southern tip of Bali facing the Indian Ocean.
After 4 days and 3 nights of holiday in Bali (last day was for going back), I am finally back to Singapore, bringing lots of nice photos and sceneries from there. Well, I didn’t bring any figurines there for any shoot since traveling was with my gal and schedule was packed for a proper time with my figs
I hope you guys enjoyed my “Saturday in Zhen Hua Garden” post, so I decided to make an effort this time and have an enjoyable Sunday outdoors instead. It is not often that I can have such a relaxing weekend, so why not I just have some outdoor pics with my figurines.
It’s a nice fuzzy warm Saturday morning and I decided to have my breakfast outdoors and a walk to the park near my house. Took a Sony Cybershot W150 PnS camera with me (instead of my old powershot s5) and here I go! ;D
IT Show 2009 was over last weekend and to be honest, despite the “whatever-you-call-it-recession”, the crowd in this year’s IT show was more than ever, in fact it has the most number of people as compared to the previous conventions that I went to.
Rice is one of the staple food consumed by the human population and in Japan, farmers from Inakadate create rice field art by using different rice to form various arts. The procedure of preparing till the day that the field is ready for harvest is not a 1-2weeks thing but rather, months. I went to source out more this rice art and found this very nice website about it. Photos included :D
Washinomiya Shrine, one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan is one of the well known shrines for its long known history and traditional dances and culture. A new culture is now hot and ongoing there - The Otaku Pilgrimage
This post was supposed to come up some time ago but due to EOY and some stuff, this was delayed but nevertheless, better be late than never. December is pretty much the best time to go Orchard to see some “bling bling” lights and Christmas decorations. Christmas sales, promotions are everywhere as well. Been a while since I walked the entire Orchard but are a couple of nice shots I took that night.
Over the course of the next few days, I will be posting up photos that I took when I was bringing them around. Of course, just the photos of the scenery only. Call it it a travel log or something, it is taken at my own time with my Canon Powershot S5 IS (yes, i do not have a DSLR). I will be starting the post with a few photos that I took in Changi Airport.
