A V2 of my cover for this song, now with better sound quality and 6 instruments.
Well..actually, only 2 instruments, the strings and music box sound can be made using the keyboard, and since I don’t have a real bass, I used a 6-string one instead (bad idea, i know) ^_^
I had the urge to learn this song after watching episode 8 last night (you can expect My Love is a Stapler after the full version comes out, I guess)
And yea I know, I did a rather bad job at covering this song..(failed solo, lol)
Somehow I didn’t think the song was as awesome as Don’t Say Lazy, so I didn’t learn it back then.
But last night, after listening to the full version, I was hooked!
The song is fun to listen and very catchy.
Also, it’s quite easy to learn, and this is the first song that I uploaded which I used tabs to learn ^^
One of the songs that inspired me to learn the piano.
It’s from the anime D.N. Angel, and it’s one of the great piano pieces from the anime
It took me many (no kidding) tries to play the song right, far more than any other songs I’ve learned on the piano
Yep, you saw this coming if you have watched my previous video.
I love the song so much that I just had to cover the full version, which was released a few days ago.
It’s like the new ‘God Knows’ to me, everyone is crazy about the song and the song topped Oricon’s chart for weeks (very rare for an anime song)
The anime is also like the new Haruhi, in terms of fandom ^^
Dear You is a beautiful song sang by Yuzuki, but I wish I could say the same for the anime (sorry, not a fan..)
A pretty simple song to play, especially the left hand part which repeats the same notes throughout the whole song.
It has been more than a month since I last uploaded a video (or posted anything here, lol). Been too busy (more like ‘lazy’, lol..) lately. But I’m back, and I found the perfect song to play.
Sakura & Jyunichi’s Promise, or Sakura to Junichi no Yakusoku, a song from the anime, Da Capo. You might not be familiar with this song, but this song has been one of my favorite since I first listened to it. This song is actually the song that inspired me to pick up the piano in the first place, and it’s the first song I tried to learn after a picked up the piano last year. Of course, I wasn’t able to play the song at that time, but now, after a year, I finally did it ^_^
So..yea, I decided to learn this song awhile back. Blues In Velvet Room is from the Persona 3 Soundtrack, and it isn’t in the game for some reason, so only people who have the soundtrack know of the song, sadly. The song is a blues song, and I learned to appreciate the genre more after learning the song. It’s a fun song to play, and learning the song was fun as well. Do note that I learned the song by ear, so mistakes are present (just like in all of my videos) ^_^
If you ask me what’s the most epic anime opening ever, or even the most epic song ever, Lilium is no doubt my top choice. I fell in love with the song before I even watched the anime, and I love it even more after watching Elfen Lied (a year later..). The song gives more meaning if you have watched the anime, seriously. Lilium contributes half of the epicness in Elfen Lied, especially in the sad scenes.
Karma by Bump of Chicken, used as the OP song for Tales of the Abyss, the game and it’s anime adaptation. The first time I heard this song when I played the game, I said “oh wow..so this is is how an awesome guitar instrumental song sounds like”, and then I kept replaying the OP again and again before starting the game.
Karma from Ever 17, an amazing song. The piano and the strings part are played by me. Took me some time to learn the piano part, but the strings part is easy if you know how to play the piano part (lol). The song is pretty hard to learn, but it’s fun to play, and the feeling of playing the piano while crying is great..
I recorded the song again to celebrate the fact that I can finally play the game using other alternative (my PC, since my PS2 hates me) ^_^
Roaring Tides/Uminari (潮鳴り) from CLANNAD, played on the piano, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar, by yours truly ^_^
